Links to some of the activites:

The museum is owned by the Commonwealth of Virginia and administered by the University of Mary Washington.
    The group visited both locations.

  • Unitied States Capital Building
The United States Capitol in Washington, D.C., is among the most architecturally impressive and symbolically important buildings in the world. It has housed the meeting chambers of the Senate and the House of Representatives for almost two centuries. Begun in 1793, the Capitol has been built, burnt, rebuilt, extended, and restored; today, it stands as a monument not only to its builders but also to the American people and their government. Some highlights were as followed: Old Senate Chamber, The "Crypt", (which lies beneath the Rotunda and dome directly above. Despite its name, the Crypt has never been used for funerary purposes; it serves today for the display of sculpture and interpretive exhibits), National Statuary Hall collection, Many Art works, and much more.
